The button for this self-defense baton is recessed and has a sliding cover, as to make sure it doesn't accidently deploy. Once the baton shoots out of the handle, it takes a lot of force to collapse, allowing it to be used for jabs. To release and collapse it back, you'll simply hit the tip of the baton onto the ground. With the rubberized grip, you'll feel confident having this telescoping baton available with a push of a button!
