This butterfly knife is constructed from 440 stainless steel, with the handles and part of the blade being oxidized to a jet black finish, leaving the silver gray brushed steel showing on the spine of the knife edge and the silhouettes of bones down the two handles. Reaching just 5.25 inches when folded, it is a comfortable size for most hands, and when you flip open the handles to reveal the sharp innards, the whole butterfly knife comes to 9 inches long.
