Cane Ridge Full Tang Damascus Gut Hook Knife

Forged as one solid Damascus steel piece this knife is not only pleasing to the eye but unbelievably durable. The Damascus tang runs the length of the handle and matches both the guard and the blade.  The pattern you see throughout the piece is a ladder design.  The blade has been tempered at around 54 to 55 with 176 blade layers. This blade is extremely thick and features a gut hook.  With the gut hook this knife makes an excellent hunting knife. The 2 inch guard protects the user’s fingers from slipping onto the blade and is also constructed of Damascus steel.  The weight of this item is incredible and just feels nice in your hand.  The handle has been contoured for a comfortable grip. It is made of wood with brass pins and a brass pipe that creates a lanyard hole.  A handmade leather sheath completes what will surely become your favorite blade.
