Starting with the multiple cross symbols adorning this sword, as well as the classic crucifix shape lent by the straight-armed guard, this sword leaves no doubt that it serves a crusader. Reeve is the title used to designate the local authority in Anglo-Saxon culture at the point of the Norman conquest and for some time beyond. The octagonal coin pommel bears a squared cross, while haloed crosses adorn each of the quillian. Claws arching discreetly down from the guard remind anyone meeting this sword that the lay Knights of the crusades did more than just preach. The square-ridged blade shape became typical of the crusaders and is frequently called a crusader blade.  This sword measures 36.5 in overall length with a 27 blade. The leather scabbard is unpretentiously adorned with three metal bands, two bearing the sign of the cross and one marked with heraldic shield and scroll.

  • Stainless steel blade
  • Black composition handle
  • Antique silver finish cast metal guard and pommel
